Why I Became A Photographer in Kitsap County

Born on the Puget sound myself, I always knew I wanted my children to grow up wandering the briny shores and lush forests of the Pacific Northwest.

Now living in Kingston, WA, I have had the great privilege of having access to both the Kitsap and Olympic Peninsulas. I have spent much time seeking out and savoring local beaches, lighthouses, lakes, community spaces, hiking trails, and venues anywhere from Seabeck to Port Townsend.

My children have grown up touching the mosses of the Hoh Rainforest, building driftwood forts at Point No Point, exploring the bunkers of Fort Worden, looking for harbor seals in Poulsbo, and paddleboarding in Port Gamble.

Rasing my family here has given me intimate knowledge of the tides, sunlight and spaces that make for truly wonderful experiences and, being a family photographer, I now get the honor of sharing that expertise through my photo sessions
